Note: This is collection of Koshi's words-of-wisdom (or sometimes lack of it) and some scribbles/skecthes that were published for the past 18 or so years by Bewith aka B'z FC Magazines and some other books like the "Ultra Chronicle" etc. In any case, I think this page could sort of give you a peek into Koshi Inaba's world or perhaps you can just let your imagination run with it =).

KOSHI SAYS:

"I was so embarrased. I never thought there were so many people watching. From kindergarten to junior high school, the only thing on my mind was sport and nothing else. Life is so unpredictable, isn't it?"
- On a play in kindergarten, in which he was to sing in front of an audience. He turned up blushing red to the ear.

"Feels like 30 is enough, maybe. It's about time to stop." (laugh)
- On "It's Showtime" being B'z 30th consecutive #1 single debut on Oricon chart (2003)

"I waited for five hours once for my date. It was when I was still a student... All that time I was thinking about good jokes to tell her.
- Koshi on dating (1991)

"Not many, only about seven..."
- Koshi quietly replied when asked how many tattoes he has on his body.

"When I think about it, she's gotta be a girl who can understand the way I think, although there aren't many who can. From time to time people always ask "What are you thinking about right now?" and I realize then, they can't understand me. It's not like I want them to, but when there is someone who I know I can connect to, it feels like time goes by so quickly."
- On chillin' out with a girl (1990)

"I easily become relaxed when I'm reading any book." (1992)
"I'm the type of guy who reads a book and if I find it interesting or amusing, I'd find more books by the same author and speed read through them all."
- On books (1998)

"My house is a cosmetic store so I remember whenever we were playing, they would put make-up on me."
- On childhood memories (1998)

"They say that when men get into their 40s, the vocal cord opens up and good voice can come out."
- Being hopeful when turning 40 (1991)

"It is interesting because it is hard."
- On job and work (1998)

"I think it's definitely yabai (=dangerous) when you start talking about the old days much more than usual."
- On getting old (1998)

"You can't say it with words. There's no theory in falling in love with someone. When you see her, your chest feels painful. There is a phrase 'your chest goes gyun', right? That's it. That moment. That toki doki (=heartbeating) feeling."
- On falling in love (1991)

"I become happy. I flush so easily."
- On drinking (1997)

"How would I spend a one month vacation? I'd still call around to ask for work."
- On holidays (1999)

"I never seriously thought about making a solo album. It all started from doing a simple demo tape kind of thing. Next, while recording it at home, it became interesting. While doing this album, suddenly everything I have always wanted to do, all came rushing out."
- Commenting on solo album MAGMA

"If my clothes aren't 100% cotton, for the whole day I will feel icky."
- On preferred clothing material (1990)

"Tak has really changed. He is able to wear blue jeans now!"
- On Tak's style (1991)

"I don't really split the clothes I wear at home or when I leave the house. Sometimes I wear shirts that prompt people to ask "What?! You're going outside in those clothes?!" It's all good... even shirts with drool from the dog."
- On his own style (2000)
