B'z ANNOUNCING 2004 IS "SOLO
YEAR" FOR BOTH MEMBERS
B'z officially announced one year break, all group activities such
as tours and others will be suspended. Tak and Koshi will focus futher
on solo activities for a full year before coming back together again next
year. Despite this, a new B'z song titled "PRAISE" is already
on air as it is chosen as Asahi Super Dry ad-campaign song, replacing
"Wake Up, Right Now".

B'z 8th FILM WILL BE RELEASED !!! (25/02/04)
TITLE = "TYPHOON NO. 15"
B'z Party's 24 hotline message said in order to present fans with
much better content in the dvd, the release date of "Typhoon~"
will be delayed until next year's spring time, February 25. The
6th concert-documentary will include:
1. Livegym Final Pleasure "It's Showtime" at Nagisa-en
- it's the 15th anniversary live concerts!!! (150 minutes)
2. "The Days of Pleasure" (50 minutes) featuring documentary
on pleasure-series concerts over the years and behind the scene
footages.

B'z Party's 24 hotline end of January's message spilled the news
on B'z first activity of the year 2004: Tak will further embark
on his solo project "Tak Matsumoto Group" (TMG), featuring
collaboration with international musicians, vocalists, etc. TMG's
first song will be on air on February 1, 2004.

Tak Matsumoto Les Paul is based on a Gibson Les Paul played by Matsumoto
in the Japanese supergroup B'z...
The Elitist Tak Matsumoto model is the ultimate Les Paul Standard, featuring
a quilt-maple top and abalone fingerboard inlays. The top finish is
Takburst, a unique faded cherry sunburst that is complemented by faded
cherry back and sides. The Tak Les Paul is equipped with Gibson USA-made
'Burstbucker pickups, which are coverless humbuckers with "zebra"

TAK MATSUMOTO'S SIGNATURE LES PAUL GIBSON
PROTOTYPE #3
B'z fans (especially eagle-eye guitar fans) have been talking about
the new model, sported on Livegym BIG MACHINE in Tokyo Dome. Is it true
or not? Well, looks like it's true now! ^0^ Dino has kindly given us
a technical summary on the guitar:
"Tak's 3rd signature model LP was unveiled on Dec 24th at Tokyo
dome. It was a never before seen shape by the gibson models, crafted
by Gibson custom shop at the request of Matsumoto. Whether this prototype
will make it to production remains to be seen.
Upon first glance, it looks like the usual Gibson LP double-cutaway
model, but differences can be found on many places. The body is more
compact, with bigger horns and asymmetrical shape that provides easier
playability on higher positions. Neck shape is slim taper and the top
is quilted maple top just like tak burst. The tone control has been
reduced to just one master tone control, the pickup selector position
is same as LP. The tone emphasizes high and middle ends reminding of
the 80's rock and metal movement." YAY
