Keen: Oh yes, the manga is just so angsty, I love it. I loved the drama back when I was 16 or so and coupled with Calling it was a perfect experience~ :) To this day I've never seen a B'z music video (I don't download videos or mp3s, they were never on when I was in Japan, and I'm too poor for DVDs. ^_~) so the first time I saw B'z in action (not in CD inserts) was in concert. Very delightful. =)

B2: Hello~ I must admit, my favorite B'z songs are the ones that are most fun the karaoke ^_^ (unfortunately, Inaba-san is so good at vocals its almost impossible to sing anything with accuracy o_O~) Of course, my favorite song is Calling, I love Liar! Liar! too, lets see, what else...Survive, Deep Kiss, Love Phantom, Signal (so romantic ^^;) Go Fight Win, Ultra Soul, Atsuki Kodou hate ni, oops these are all from Green, aren't they? Haha. ^^ Its what I've been singing the most lately...my favorite songs change depending on what album I'm currently listening to. ^_^

Hi Vanessa, good pics! I see Koshi smiling nicely as ever and his hair looks great! Maan, I hope to see long hair Koshi (like in Motel PV, aaww). And how cute Tak with tie was. Oh, btw when did you get to talk to Tak? I don't remember reading it in the report?

Shinobi: Something about Z'b can be found in the Some Q&A section "How did B'z start?". They performed in livehouses in 4 cities back in 1991. It's said that B'z were feeling restless during no-livegym days, so they registered as Z'b. Livehouses' managers were like *shrugged* maybe they are copyband of B'z. When they turn up on stage, everyone was shocked! About setlist, I thought I saw it somewhere before. Can't remember ^^;; But yes, they performed Let It Be, Need Your Love So Bad, Same Ol' Situation, Train Kept A Rollin' and so much more.

Koshi baffles me with his very nice English accent. So much better than many J-pop/rocker. If you watch DVD "A Beautiful Reel" you can also see how Tak's English is very spontaneous too! So cool ;p

Janelle, I got into B'z becoz of Calling. The dorama wasn't as good as the manga, but the theme song, OMG, I was hooked and HAD to look for the band who performed it. After about 2 months of frenzy B'z listening, I got to *see* them in GOLD PV. And OMG, don't they look so normal (non Visual Kei). Thank god. Plus Koshi Inaba in black lace, enough said.

Keen: Aaah~ Utsukushiki Sekai is such a nice Valentine's day song! I first heard it when I was playing Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side..LOL! That's when I first heard Signal too. Its so perfect. ^_~ Although, the song that me and my boyfriend call "our" song is Calling. I love that song. *_* That was the first B'z song I ever heard back in like 1998 or something, I was watching tapes of Glass no Kamen. ^_^ Its such a beautiful song~ "kimi to irutoki, boku wa boku ni nareru.." (when i'm with you, i can be myself)....i think that's the most romantic thing a person can say to a girl! ^_^

B: Aww, that's even worse to know that us extras just got leftover whistles from the concert! Oh well, I consider my souvenir the memories I have (hehe, that's cheesy, but its true.) and if I see myself at all in the video or making of video, then I'll be very happy :D Hehe, I think fainting might have gotten you killed, unfortunately. ;_; I was surprised at how vicious everyone was being~ It was like the crowd at industrial/heavy metal concerts~ (which I know from first hand to be also very violent.) It was nothing like how it was when I saw them play in LA...everyone was much more, well, not "calm", but "polite." ^_^

Hey Janelle,
read your report ! wow it must have been super exciting, even though you had to spend a lot of boring time waiting for things to start. About the whistle, this is very cheap of B'z (not B'z, but their managment). The green whistle was a complementary item every person who went to livegym 2002 got cause they used it in an audience participation-thing during the gig. In that way, the whistle made sense but just that as a gift for the new video shoot...lame ! At least you got your pics and your memories ne ! And, you might make it into the final version of the vid yeah !
Even though some frequent visitors of this board won't believe me, I am not such a visicious or agressive person when it comes to seeing the stars live in action, so I guess I would have gotten totally trampled during the shooting.
Jaw-down-to-the-floor gasping and fainting are more my special things but I guess this won't get me very far in case of a video shoot....

in japan, there's only 1single & 16albums whose sales > 1million in 2002, total 17. a big drop from previous year's 28 (6singles, 22albums).among the 16 albums, utada's 'deep river' tops the chart with sales > 3million.
