Shinobi, if noone answer the question about Love Ya' maybe becoz noone knows. I definitely don't know :p hehehe... Gomen, Tak! Anywayz, yeah, everybody knows I'm totally mad over "Strings of My Soul". Oh maaan, the live is really great, Tak's mournful expression and the weeping guitar! Some notes weren't written yet, but some bits were like, crap, Tak, why didn't you record that in! In the Treasure Book, Koshi said: "I always watched from the stage's side when he played this song and it's different playing all over again in the cd." The verses of that particular songs simply squeeze tears out of me *whoah crei*

Well, yeah, I heard gossips about plan of Livegym with 300,000 ppl. That'd gotta be open-air. ABR Yokohama live was 70,000 ppl. This will be huuu scary!

The comments on 7th Blues are great, minna-san! Keep it coming! You can say anything within one sentence to a novel! Any song or all songs! =p

Quote of the moment: About 7th Blues (Disc One)
Sent: 05.52 - 28/2

Which most surprise me from The 7th Blues (Disc one) is that the general style in the songs is very different from The 7th Blues (Disc Two), which is more hard rock, and it's a part of the same album! Incredible mixing of styles in The 7th Blues, with the first part with a style closer to albums like RUN and the second part with a rock style which is in the line of Brotherhood.
The 7th Blues (Disc One) opens with a short telephone conversation, when we could hear a man saying: "Men, they're cool, crushing (...) There's a japanese rock'n'roll band called B'z", a phrase which is a true confirmation about what we're going to listen to. 'Love is Dead', a great mixing of jazzie instrumentation and monster guitar solos, opens the album with great sound, followed by the funny and dinamyc 'Odekakeshimashyo'. Two great songs, with a great style. I adore them. The third beat, 'Miseinen', is a bit relaxing, to contrast with the energy of the other songs. Hey, have everyone notice that the final guitar notes also appear in RISKY's 'Gimme Your Love'?. 'Yami No Ame', the fourth song, begins with a Tak-Sama's solo which goes into your soul. Romantic, and a bit sad. But GREAT. Although its title, 'MY SAD LOVE' doesn't have this feeling; on the contrary, its very funny and you couldn't stop to move your head with its easy rhythm. Has a similar feeling of 'LOVE ME, I LOVE YOU'. GORGEOUS!! Next track, 'Queen of Madrid', a ballad, another good and quiet song before 'Himitsu na Futari', with its freshing and cool chorus, very easy to start to sing! 'Strings of my Soul' is one of this guitar solos from Tak-Sama which touches your soul. Very blues, and very GOOD (I know a lot of famous guitarists who should learn from Tak-Sama's guitar :oP). This song is one of my favourites of the album, because with only one guitar, Tak-Sama transmite to the listener a POWERFUL FEELING. And as always, his playing is FANTASTIC!! Next song, 'Akai Kawa' has a beautiful introduction with classical music, a music that suggest me the music of a tale, like a ship flying over a cloudy sky... And then, a romantic song which sounds like a love praying, but with a power inside itself. Final track, 'WILD ROAD', an energetic song which mixes feeling, blues sadness and force, closes perfectly this first part. From this I really like Koshi powerful voice, the piece where a girl sings, Matsumoto's crazy and speedy solos and the final part, with the rhythm going faster and faster. When the CD ends, we only have a short time of relax, the time to change the first CD... To the second. Because there a second part, hehehehehehehh...

To sum up, a great part of a double album, which opens fantastic, and will continue astonishing...

I like it a lot, but it's strange that I don't like something done by B'z ;oP

Hello! Lots of hours of searching and downloading have gave to me almost B'z complete discography. But there are a few songs which I couldn't find anywhere. Please, as you've done some time before, could someone share with me these songs and them by e-mail? The songs are these:
· Juice (single version)
· Hoshiburu Yoru Ni Sawagou
· 99 (From Matsumoto's Wanna Go Home)
Also, could someone answer my question about the two versions of Love Ya which I asked some days ago in a message here?

To Enma: Yeah, it would be MARVELOUS if you could send me these songs, because they're too difficult to find (I only find Mixture versions). It doesn't matter if you couldn't send them these days, I'll wait.

Please, forgive me for demanding so many songs, but understand that here in Spain is so difficult to find B'z songs. My excuses!!

P.D.: For everyone who send me songs, please send me one song by day to not finish my e-mail memory!!

As always, if somebody want any song that I have, please tell me!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!!!!! ;o)

Shame on you alllll !! keekee.
But hey, forgetting B'z day like that !!
I spent B'z day at the japanese embassy sweating, waiting for my job-interview. So I had lots of time to think about B'z day
and wonder if Kohshi or Tak say to each other "Hey, happy B'z day !" or something.
Maybe Tak brings Kohshi roses and takes him out to an expensive place, dancing afterwards.
Or maybe Kohshi waits crying in his room cause Tak forgot B'z day again....

hmmmm...7th Blues eh? well, Love is Dead is of course the tops, since it does everything right. I especially like the instrumental break, with the horns, then Tak's awesome solos. some fine, fine singing too! Koshi always makes things more interesting towards the end of songs, and he throws in all sorts of sound effects here. Odekake Shimashou is one of those kind of goofy songs, and it's fun to listen to. I think it's Miseinen that's got some great guitar in it, and a smooth song overall. My Sad Love caught my attention immediately, but I must admit I haven't listened to it much! I just know I like it. mad propz must be given to the string master on the wonderful Strings of my Soul. some of Tak at his best. and, of course, the grandiose Akai Kawa...one of those songs that can make you feel happy or sad. I really should listen to this album more...

I committed a terrible crime! I forgot B'z day! It was yesterday, kyaaaa! 2/26 (B/Z) as appointed by Koshi. I think noone remembers either, huuu... Mostly becoz Sept 21 is also B'z day :p Somebody told me, imagine this year's Sept 21 concert! They probably play Dakara~ 5x in a row, all different vers.

Hi Enma, welcome! So you also went to the vid shoot! Hmm, I guess many fans actually turned up in such short notice. If B'z were to hold another concert in L.A., a bigger one with 5000 ppl probably wouldn't be a problem at all. They REALLY MUST take off the stupid age restriction though.

Irene, the only thing I can think of about USEN is "wu xian" (no cable) :p I'm at lost. Ooh, WILD ROAD rockz! Queen of Madrid is very relaxing. It gives me this sun-baked red-earth scenic with wooden chair and lemonade in some weatherboard's house terrace. Wait a minute, this sounds more like a cowboy movie, roflaskf.

Odekake Shimashou, call me a maniac, but I love Kosh's expression when he sang tongue-twister line "sono meiyo wo ookiku kizutsukeru"... Ah, Love Is Dead, perfect lyrics, great singing, cool solo. What else?

hah, this new game is tough 4 people like me who don't like to make use of the brain ne ;p so, an album a week?...this will last for 3 months? i'm looking forward to some of the albums ^_^

hmmm...let me c...WILD ROAD...1 of my favorites on the 7th blues! the song that i'm expecting most when i listen to this album...probably coz it's not on the best & must albums...& it's placed right to the end of disc 1 (i can skip the songs b4 it but..but the others are nice too :p) 178 sounds so mannnnn & powerful hehehe & i addicted to the part starting 'ubai...' (sumimasen, i 4got the lyrics)

hmmm...after finishing the above lines, actually it's not tough at all :) even though it might seems rubbish but it's juz letting one's thoughts out ^.~

Hi Vanessa. Saw your post, photos and site I think it's pretty cool~~~!!! Sorry about the part where people started to come in to use the bathroom at the PV shoot.... I think that's my fault.....I asked the guy if there was a bathroom available down the street or wherever.....and he told me there was one inside and let me in a few minutes later...... I have to say that the PV shoot kind of let me down. Especially the whistle part and waiting in the rain for 6 hours.....oh well...ma ikka.......

I declare for a new game to begin. Each week we'll pick a B'z album and everyone who posts must give one sentence (or more!) opinion on the specific album. There're at least 10-12 songs in each album, I don't think it'd be that hard. Say anything you want about it!

THIS WEEK ALBUM: THE 7TH BLUES, DISC ONE.

Akai Kawa, love Kosh's painful lyrics here "sitting on the bridge as if turning into stone already, where would I go if I jump down from here?" Also that beautiful ending solo. This song has the feel of outer space with stars and planet swirling around.

[Actually I think everyone's one-liners will help immensely for NP to write songs recommendation, hehe]

PS: Shinobi, I'm working on a report of Tak to celebrate his birthday. So I'll try to make that collaboration thing next on my list :p

Hey, Keen, in my way of searching B'z songs I've thought something: you could include in the website a section about B'z, Inaba-Sama and Tak-Sama rare songs, collaborations, demos, etc., everything which is not in their official discography but they have done, for example, Inaba-Sama's TRAMP. I believe it would be useful and helpful for those who search B'z songs in the Internet, don't you think the same?

Hello, here I am with more questions (some things never change...):
· I'd obtained 2 versions of Matsumoto's Love Ya, one which starts with a guitar solo, and other almost equal, but starts with background drums. Could anyone tell from where is every version? I think the one which starts with the guitar solo is from the album, and the other from the single, but I'm not really sure?

· There are some songs from THE MIXTURE which were B-sides of the singles, and I've notice that they're slightly differences (I have compared two versions of YOU & I that I've obtained, the mixture version and the single version). Is there anyone who has the single version (the original B-sides, not the Mixture versions) of these songs?
· Joy
· KARA·KARA

· Biribiri

Shinobi, I tried sending you "99" but it was returned coz your mailbox is full. Anyway, I can't make mp3 out of "Jammin' of the Guitar", a crazy song, btw, the riff reminds me a lot to Fighting Bull (there's Kosh voice in it). My other fave is Airport. My crappy mp3 software only produces 5 first songs out of a cd T.T

I love it when Tak's doing his solo performance. So far, Strings of My Soul and #1090 rock the most!

Hello everybody! Wow, I good topic to debat. I'm going to tell you what I think. With a band like B'z, it's hardly difficult (if not impossible) to select only one song for member, but these are the rules of the poll! I agree with B2 about LOOSE's Bad Communication version in Inaba-sama's vocals. I believe we could find in this song the most vocal changes of our dear singer. Inaba-sama's does a WONDERFUL performance there! About Matsumoto-sama, it's more difficult to say, 'case he doesn't have so much vocals songs, and also doesn't have the same vocal register as Inaba-sama. But I think we have to appreciate him by his guitar, not by his voice, 'cause Matsumoto-sama doesn't sing with his voice, he sings with his guitar. I again agree with B2, Brotherhood is done for Matsumoto-sama. But I have to add something more: one of his solos that I most like is in KNOCKIN "T" AROUND's Heaven, with more than an half minute doing a WILD, ASTONISHING solo. He really stop the song! Another solo that I adore is in GOLD, 'cause has a special feeling, very penetrating. And also in this solo, he reminds me in his way of playing guitar my other favourit guitarist, Queen's Brian May.

· To Birgit Amadori: Excuse I hadn't answer you your mail. I've been busy. I have a demo of the song you demand, I'm going to send it to you as soon as possible. Please wait ;o)

· To Keen: Have you got your copy of Wanna Go Home? Could you send me 99 and Jammin' of the Guitar .mp3, please? Thank you very much!! If my queenzone.com mail fails, here you have another: lickitup@eresmas.com.

· To everybody: I finally obtain Matsumoto's THOUSAND WAVE complete!! If is there anyone interested, please tell me!!

· To everybody 2: I couldn't find the differences between Juice single and Juice (PM Mix)!! I think I had PM Mix, so is there anyone who could send me the single version, please? Thank you!!!

I just finished watching Livegym TIME. Considering how the image and sound quality is of low quality, it's really incredible how I enjoyed it immensely! I have come to the conclution that ANY B'z Livegym is worth releasing into DVD! In this one, they performed acoustic Itoshii Hito Yo (I don't listen to this song often, but the performance was brilliant and different!), acoustic Mou Ichido~. Also since I never heard Goodbye Holy Days and Hoshiburu Yoru Ni Sawagou b4, it was a pleasant surprise to hear 'new' songs! Oh, so many wonderful songs and double encore too! The stage was amazing becoz the audience was sitting all around it, so even behind the stage. The lighting effect was great. Why didn't that Tak release this into dvd!

Anyway, some of you who have "the Official Bootleg" might remember a long MC-ing that Kosh and Tak did in this livegym. Well, since this one is un-cut, the actual MC-ing is much longer and so funny. I had to repeat many times to try to understand it. So here we go! (not word by word)

Kosh: Concerning B'z, there're many gossips out there. 'They seem to be getting along really well for quite some time now. Are they not HOMO?'
Audience: (laugh)
Koshi: To put everything straight, let me tell you a story about what kind of relationship we have. 1989, summer, three persons coming home from concert: Matsumoto, Inaba and manager. They had with them big heavy stuffs. Their sweat kept flowing... (turn to Tak) How terrible this is.
Tak: Fu (chuckle)
Audience: (laugh)
Kosh: If only we can get a seat. Manager is far in front of us.
Tak: At this time, you won't find any. Just give it up.
Kosh: Give it up, you always say such thing. Aa what?! Manager, you found the only seat available? LUCKY! Let me sit down (putting down heavy stuff gesture)
Tak: Oii, Inaba! Don't be too overjoyed yet! First of all, WHO AM I?
Kosh: (hanging his head low) B'z no leader, Matsumoto Takahiro desu.
Tak: And that means?
Kosh: Naturally like a father (head even lower).
Audience: (LOL)
Tak: So who gets to sit on that only one available seat?
Kosh: ... boku desu! (=Me!)
Tak: Oii! Is that not wrong?!
Kosh: Aa, sumimasen! (=I'm sorry)
Tak: If your apology can be accepted then we don't need the police.
Audience: (LOL)
Kosh: Sumimasen, Matsumoto-san desu.
Tak: Yos! (satisfied expression)
Kosh returned to his seat sadly, Masao Akashi (bass) became the narrator.
Masao: 1990, for album RISKY, B'z went to L.A. to shoot album promotion poster. They checked into The Plaza for three-days. But only one room available, and even though it's a big spacious room, there's only one bed.
Audience: (LOL)
Masao: But Inaba-kun who was super excited with his first trip outside Japan, didn't care at all.
Kosh: (running around) Wow, the room is huge! America is definitely different from Japan ne! (running around the 'room', checking out stuffs gesture)
Tak: Fu (chuckled)
Kosh: There's only one bed though. But never mind, Matsumoto-san is not very big, we can definitely sleep. No problem. L.A. banzai, America is great!
Tak: Inaba! Oii Inaba!
Kosh: (sensing trouble) Hai?
Tak: Don't be too overjoyed yet! First of all, WHO AM I?
Kosh: (*ouch* expression) B'z no leader, Matsumoto Takahiro desu.
Tak: So that makes me almost like your father. See that guy (pointing to Masao). WHO IS HE?
Kosh: (head low) That's Masao Akashi, B'z bassist.
Tak: And that means?
Kosh: That makes him naturally a close relative.
Audience: (LOL)
Masao: (head bobbing happily)
Tak: So who gets to sleep in that only one available bed?
Kosh: (head very low) Matsumoto-san desu.
Tak: See that? (Pointing somewhere) What is that?
Kosh: (peering) That is a sofa that only a cat can sleep on.
Tak: So who gets to sleep on the sofa that only a cat can sleep on?
Kosh: (sadly) Boku desu. (=Me)
Koshi returned to his seat.
Masao: Just like this, the two members of B'z continue to have a wonderful relationship.
Audience: (LOL)
Kosh: (singing Let It Be) When I find myself in times of trouble.......

I found that hillariouz. Although I can feel the pain in the audience (which was alarmingly 98% women) when Tak bullied Koshi so. Btw, they also had two hot female background vocals who did "#1090" special dance!! An amazing Tak solo moment too!! SIGH. I had so much fun. Thanks for reading it =p

Hi Shinobi, PM mix is not very different to my ears. I think Tak's part is a little bit different and Koshi went up a key or something. Maybe. Also, in the single version the "Babe it's all right" sounds clearer to me. If I recall correctly PM stands for poquito mas.

B'z songs are sexy for many different reasons. What do you mean by pron, Keen? You mean like LAN style?

Oh yes, Takboss pointed to me once, in Itsuka~ Live, Tak does have a string of gray hair. I thought it makes him look even sexier! teehee...

Hi everyone! It's been a while since I posted anything here and so many new people and much stuff to read! NEwayz, I came back from my vacation in LA and you know what I happened to be in LA when they are shooting the PV so I went. Most of the stuff's been covered so I won't go into the details but point out a couple of things I thought it was interesting....Tak was playing his first signature model not the takburst he's been wailing lately...the unplugged Marshall fullstack had "MEGADETH" stamp on the back of it so maybe it belonged to Dave Mustaine?...Shane threw out a drum stick in the air and I had a hand on it, one girl had both hands on, another girl had a hand, and since I'm a nice guy I let it go (after about 10 seconds)and the girl with two hands ended up taking the prize home...I don't know if Tak dyed his hair to gray or if it was natural gray hair but he looked really old up close. I mean really old. He's still my man though....I think the whistle really bummed some people out(including myself) but I wasn't there for the souvenir anyway so that's OK I guess.

Hey Keen, have you listened to the R'n'R Hero by KK?
If you liked Top of the Pops you should definitely pick up a copy if you already haven't. A great album.

I absolutely agree w/ B2 on Nagareyukuhibi. Tak usually keeps it short and sweet but on this outro he goes all out. Simple but beautiful harmonized melody too. I also like 'Heaven' from Knocking T around, great showcase. As for Koshi, since he can pretty much do anything, I pick 'Fireball' for the lyric and his delivery, 'Kiramekuhito' for giving us something new. Oh and 'Atsukikodoo' for such high notes.

ok, hottest action...well, I may have to go with Bad Comm 000-18 for Koshman (which is what makes it my favorite). it's all there: the harmony, all different dynamics, calm and very aggressive parts, and most importantly, the koshyelps! and off the top of my head, Do me and Kobushi wo Nigire are worth mentioning. but jeez, so many songs that fit the bill!

as for big tak daddy, I'd have to say...hmmmm, even harder to decide! if we're going for all-out guitarring, Giri Giri Chop is certainly a candidate. but then Nagare Yuku Hibi has the longest of Tak's solos (over one minute!) and that exquisite harmonized melody. really, the entire Brotherhood album is tak pr0nz. Raging River also has an amazing solo, and Friends 2 includes some of his best playing as well. again, too many to pick just one!

hurhur, you ask two questions I thought I knew the answers of, but now I'm really in doubt. Somebody kind and sweet will answer for you.

Shinobi, everyone can talk about anything on B'z here. Like what's your favorite songs at this moment and why... Or any particular Koshi lyrics that sorta grab you and won't let go.

These days I've been listening to The 7th Blues like mad. It's soooo nice to have it on real cd. I used to have it on mp3s with all different quality and volume (ouch!). So now I'm planning to buy other albums I don't have slowly and painfully, coz it's gonna burn a hole through my pocket. I can feel it T.T

*cough* lemme try to rock this board. WHICH SONG HAS THE MOST PRON KOSHI/TAK ACTION OF ALL? Alrite, make that two songs, one for Koshi and one for da bozz. I know everyone's got his/her faves. Out with them!
I'd pick Makkana Silk for Koshi, all that screaming, breathing, whispering, grunting and finally the pronz lyrics. As for Tak, urggh, aargh, one at the top of my head now is... The Changing! (not the singing tho, gomen)
PS: B-chan, L.A.N. Octopuz style don't count. That's too overboard already, hurhur.
