There's an audio clip of Z'b singing 'Home Swet Home' by Motley Crue at B'z Brotherhood site (it's in freeboard section). Used to be big fan MC in much younger days so it was kinda cool to hear b'z doing it...
I didn't think there was much difference between the single and the live version of Aino~?
I was watching some of B'z clips today and thinking Koshi should grow his hair back like in 'don't leave me' video. That'll be cool.

otsukare! keen! i wonder how much time u have spent on the bewiz ne ^0^ playful 178 still has not given the answer to the o.no.re question :p

at last someone commented on the cdtv live! i've been waiting for u guys to download it coz i've got something to say :) i love this rock-style "ai no mama~" (coz i'm not 'in love' with the single version :p gomen keen-chan, b-chan)...there's 178-abuse-mic-stand scenes too in the music station (but cdtv has more of that) ^_^ but i'm wondering "doesn't 178 worry about the chances of hitting tokunaga & tak when he's playing with the mic-stand?" ^^; & the explosion & the fire surrounding b'z ^.~ they reverted the songs sequence in the 2 shows...ano, i enjoy cdtv live more coz it didn't appear like a standard tv live where the artists juz face front throughout the whole song ;p demo, masuda-san was not in the 2 tv live??
(keen, i dl both file 1&2, then i opened the downloaded file 1, a pop-up box appeared & i clicked 'yes' though i dunno what it said ^^; thereafter, a .wmv file will be created & i juz deleted the previous file1&2...hope it helps :p)

Bewiz asked Kosh whether he asked Tak for guitar advice on SHIAN.
Kosh: Not at all. But I was stealing bits and pieces of him (laugh). Next time I should take memo.

Bewiz asked why O.NO.RE title is written in romaji.
Kosh: What's the kanji for it?
Bewiz: Jiko's "ko" (Ž©ŒÈ‚ÌŒÈ=oneself)
Kosh: "ko"... (writing on the table) this one right? (sigh)
Bewiz: What's the matter?!
Kosh: The kanji title might have been better... Uso, uso! (laugh) (=I lied, I lied)

I forgot to comment on CDTV live! Kosh seems to have found a new way to abuse the mic-stand. He simply didn't let go of it! And hllz it was sexy! Was I wrong or did Tak did a different ending solo to It's Showtime? Plus, I can't open the MS live from Edwiz T.T

I have to ask becoz maybe only some of you care about those up-close-n-personal details of their lives. But if everyone likes, I've only got 9 Bewiz to dig from, in other words, Tak and Koshi would be exposed naked to int'l fans, kekeke (not that other fans haven't been doing good job on that anyway =p).

(continuouz)
Bewiz: How was the first session with B'z?
Billy: First session was just watching how they do it. Becoz it's not gonna work without remembering the songs, and the rhythm comes as first priority. Afterwards along with Shane, I went into studio hours earlier than them, and then rehearsals with all five of us. Then many many hours of practising, repeating the same songs until it feels that my body remembers the songs well.
Shane: I'm very happy to be standing on the same stage with B'z and Billy. They are people who give me big influence. Performing the songs I've been listening to was so much fun. It was exciting! Actually during live, every song is performed different in many ways. Listening to the songs is definitely different from performing them. When the sound is produced, we can see other angle.
Bewiz: It's about 2 weeks to the tour now, how's everything going?
Billy: We're getting better everyday! B'z have massive number of fans, therefore things I want to do myself, I'm gonna do my best for them and for us too.
Shane: I agree with Billy.
Bewiz: Any message to the fans?
Billy: I'm waiting to see your smiles! (laugh) I hope everyone will enjoy the live from the bottom of their hearts. I hope everyone shout!
Shane: It's not only a show, it's huge event! Becoz it's a huge project, a level I haven't experienced b4. I'm filled with expectation to feel your power. I'm looking forward to see you all! I'll perform with all the energy I have. But the drum will probably be broken (laugh)... I'm a bit worried on that (laugh)

[These are some bits I nit-picked here and there]
When Tak was recording "Don't Stop Music" with Misia, he was also recording B'z on the same studio! So he went up to 2nd floor where Misia was. And when he came downstairs again, he shoved a big cake to Koshi, "Here, from Misia-san." Kosh was like, "Yay! Arigatou Misia-san!"

Bewiz asked Kosh about his 'kiss' with Steven Tyler.
Kosh: On the lips!
Tak: There might not be chance like this in the future!
Kosh: Even if there is, I think Steven would be careful!

Cool, you have the old MGM models? Stupid ebay people deleted my listings because of the wording "additional fee" was mentioned...now I have to re-list them. Yeah, I agree that LPs are heavy, thick necks, etc, but the sound of it covers for it. And the best damn looking guitar in the universe. No sXXt. Tak is doing the right thing.

uhhh, keen, you had to ASK if anyone was interested? kakaka...aren't we all eager for more B'z details (well, some more than others...)? finally some words straight from Birry and Shane! I wonder if they knew what they were getting into with this livegym business.

Dino, that's a fine instrument! I'm not so keen_on_lespauls as far as playing them goes, but I've always loved the way they look. if I ever got a Tak model it would definitely be more of a showpiece (hahah yeah right...). but even the old blue Yamaha doesn't get much playing. that's alright, though, cause it's cool just to have a piece of old school B'z in my house.

Hi Keen,

Pls continue that translation of BeWith, I love to read it............ pls.

I've always thought, through 3 years of studying B'z, that fame and success couldn't have happened to 2 nicer guys. They shrug off their superstardom -- it doesn't even seem to matter to them or their music. I could see Tak being a little snobbish in his youth (LOL! You know, that Mat-chan...Osaka Diva), but can't you tell by the way they behave backstage, onstage, in interviews, in backstage clips, in be with clips, that they are so down to earth and nice? And I'm not saying this as some kind of blind fan. That kind of attitude can't be faked 24/7 and in all these candid shots and interviews, or fool fans for 15 years.

Masuda-san's firsthand observations seem so fitting. 178%, that's our Koshi! And haven't changed, but only matured in presentation. O wise Masuda-san.

Some people complain that B'z are too commercialized. But I don't think success or fame has ever changed the way B'z make their music or their work ethic. They do not stick to one successful formula. Maybe I'm naive, but I honestly don't think money figures into the B'z equation, even if it does to Being. They just keep doing their best, and this has earned them the trust and confidence of their fans.

Whew sorry, bad day! lol. Thanks so much Keen-chan. Yeah, I think maybe I'll go back and rewrite everything on my site now. 0.o And, I think I should make that Masuda page! You've translated a few juicy bits about Takanobu haven't you? XD

It's good of be-wiz to interview him, Birry and Shane before the Green tour started. Here's what they think about Tak and Kosh.

Bewiz: What was your first impression on O-futari?
Masuda: Matsumoto-kun was rather snobbish (laugh), that sort of sticks out. But I was the same! Hora, we were in our 20s, right? It was that era (laugh).
Bewiz: ... a musician's pride
Masuda: Yes. I think that's why we had so much spirit
Bewiz: What about Inaba-san?
Masuda: Inaba-kun ne, since before debut, I've always thought he's a super-atsui (literally=hot; passionate) guy. He'd put 120% into anything he's doing with his whole body and soul. I still think the same as the first time we met. Whether for live rehearsal, performance or studio, I have this impression of him always practising very hard.
Bewiz: After 10 years, do you see any changes to them?
Masuda: Matsumoto-kun has become very modest (laugh), but basically they haven't changed at all. The way they present themselves though has become more matured. That's my opinion.

Then he said how all his 30s was spent doing Livegym, so B'z has become a big part of his life, something that shaped what he is today. All of Livegym, his best one was Nagisa-en's Live Ripper (ii ne, B-chan?) ^^ Also about communication with Birry and Shane, coz his English is terrible, he said himself...
Masuda: This might sound rather proud, but musicians surely can communicate through music! But even before I got along with Denny well, we went to hotsprings together! (laugh)
Bewiz: What do you think of Birry and Shane?
Masuda: I'm surprised on how much fun they are having with what they're doing. They come earlier and leave later than us. Especially Billy, he doesn't act like a famous legend that he is. He doesn't act like he's a superior musician than I am. Now that we're standing in the same stage, it's clear that he also chose to be here with B'z (not only B'z chose him). They really have fun! I should do so too (laugh)

Bewiz: What was your first impression on Matsumoto-san and Inaba-san?
Billy: Koshi really takes care of his voice ne. Tak's guitar playing is amazing, that's why he can play with so much fun. Both of them are hard-workers. Koshi is a vocalist that makes me think of Freddy Mercury of Queen. He's got wonderful voice and is very talented.
Shane: I feel the same way as Billy. In short, they are extremely talented and really love music. They use digital on some songs, but they do it with superior techique. Both of them are really really nice guys, that usual jet-set attitude (laugh) which superstars adopt is non-existent with them. And communication is easy with them. They treat us as people of the same level.
(to be continued, if anyone is interested ^^)

Wow, Dino, good luck on the moving and don't be a stranger. I see that you're also selling Joe Perry Les Paul. I hope you get Tak's model too. Which one do you like the Tak or the Burst? ^^

Keen, that pic is actually from the Pleasure lyrics booklet. ^^ And I thought I DID scan in some nice Tak! I made sure the gallery has 2 Taks to 2 Koshi pics! XD
Anyway, you can link to me now if you like!

On another note, I'm moving back to Cali(crossing my fingers for another cali roll) and trimming down on some of my stuff and Les Paul Goldtop is one of them...(you all know who made me get it in the first place) It's on ebay w/ keyword b'z if you want to see.(this is NOT a sales speech! ^^;) I'm sad to see it go but hopefully I can go to japan and get me a copy of TAK sig. model. Both of THEM! And go to Tokyo dome for the Live-Gym on Christmas. Wouldn't that be wonderful...Yume miteomo iidaroo chotokurai...

As for M's site, OMG, I <3 <3 <3 the Live Ripper Kosh's naked back shot. It's still minus the dragon tattoo, but somehow it's soooo hot! Oh, that brown kamisama, kekee... Thanks for scanning those gorgeous pics, M! I see more coming, rite? You must put gorgeous Tak to balance it out! There're quite a few of them, I recall.

I read some more bewiz during the weekend, Shane was so nice to throw a birthday party for Koshi last year! (did I actually post about this already?) And during the tour, the whole B'z male entourage went into hot-spring bath together, butt-naked of course. Why, wouldn't we all want to see a picture of that, kekeke... Kosh and Tak with towels on top of their flushed face... wait a minute, we HAVE seen them in bathtub! Remember that famous towel-Koshi pic and bathtub-cigar Tak?

I was laughing a lot reading this stuff, esp the janitor part, I feel like jumping on the stage during live gym and mopping the floor with my sweaty shirt around Tak's feet...

Welcome back Keen-chan!
Oh B ~ lucky lucky lucky! You're going to that awesome incredible sure-to-be-recordbreaking live!

Yeah, I agree that Shane seems to be quite addicted to B'z and I hope he stays too! As for bass chick...I highly doubt it'll be her. She's pretty cool though. I mean, we all liked Yoko don't we? *silence* Don't we?!
All right, then, how about some Tokunaga-kun, who is on both songs of the last single?

Booo no way they would dare to go for a chick to be a support member that seems to care not at all bout B'z hehe (but maybe she was only trying to beat down some urutora fandom...well I wouldn't be able to).
I got hot e-mail from my B'z spy in Tokyo who tried to get through the burning phonelines all day today to get tickets for the Nagisa celebration.
So with that ticket secured (and super expensive..) I have set my goal and nobody should dare to stop me when I am all starry-eyed and dying to breathe wet livegym B'z air.
I also hope Shane stays on cause he is undoubtedly a sweet extra for the fangrills, and his drum solo was one of my faves during livegym ^-^

Minna, sorry for my seldom appearance lately in the board. I just got connected today in the new place. Hmm, stuffs are thrown everywhere and I have thousands of things to do. However as it's always been, there's always time for B'z. Yeah, even though the kitchen is not tidied yet so I haven't been able to cook my own meals and my assesment which I haven't even started is up in two days, all my B'z nick-nack are up prettily on the wall and I'm now reading all the news I missed out and of course updating -_-;; I foresee some sleepless nites... well, at least I'm happy now.

So glad that I will finally get to add two more links to the English's B'z sites!!! One is Mai's B'z fan-art site and 2nd is M's urutora site ^<>^ just tell me when I can link, M-chan! Wowowow, now we have five English B'z sites from NP-ers, sugoi ne! So excited... hopefully more and more coming!

That Dec 24 Livegym sounds amazing. Tokyo Dome huh, where's Yokohama (or is it the same one :p)? This Final Pleasure tour sounds like another awesome DVD material, sigh... That Nagisa-en (Jap The Ripper) outdoor venue for 15th yr anniversary thing also sounds incredible. Break is from Aug 29 to Sept 19 (3 weeks) and Sept 22 to Nov 19 (almost 2 mths)... Let's see, say they insert in those breaks... four dates in HK/Taiwan and four dates in US. That makes a lot of sense to me!

Now I'm curious about support members! I have a feeling that Shane is very much addicted to B'z livegym so he will be on and so will Masuda Takanobu for sure. Well well, will it be Birry or Tokunaga-kun or new mystery bassist this time? I can't care less for the bass-chick in "It's" pv though. Hopefully not her!

Hi S, I hv B'z official karaoke cd TV Style2, bought it through CDJapan. Sometimes Yahoo auction will hv it, you can also check there. But other than buying on-line I don't know whereelse you can possibly get them from.

M, yeah, I agree that B'z stage is not the-most-extravagant one (now i contradict my last post ^^:), but they pack just enough to deliver the punch! I mean you can still go, oooh, ahhhh, yeah! The awesome ones are like Fireball, Survive? (Kosh and Tak in between gigantic women legs) and of course GREEN. I wonder what kind of stage they'll hv this year. I'd opt for smaller venue too, but this way there's no way to feel the energy and togetherness of 70,000 ppl in one place. That also what makes a 'live' so grand, no?
