It's amazing to see how LOW the numbers of albums/ singles sold. But SMAP and Fukumasa really kicked some butt this year. At least almost everything that B'z released this year got into the chart. Showtime, Yasei~, BIG~, HIT~, K.I., Ihoujin, but not Imitation Gold 0___o How strange, I thought Imitation debut at #1.
Did I see this right? The two best L'Arc cds released March this year only sold 400,000 copies combined sales? 0____o I DON'T GET IT. As for Love & Ballad I believe it has reached almost 2 mill last year so that figure of 200g+ must be this year's.
Figure conscious people like me will find this Japanese page very useful.

Well I'm going off subject but does anyone know a group called Shion?? They have a funny music video called "Romantic GO GO!" I want to see it again but I don't know where......hehehe. The Typhoon dvd release date is officially delayed until further notice. I really really hope they'd include BIG MACHINE live in it. At least a little bit would be good too, like 60 minutes of it? hehe Somehow I feel I'm not gonna get this wish. Lots of Japanese fans are happy about this too. They said after new year they'll get lots of money and can definitely buy the dvd, but not the end of this year. This also happened with BUZZ which was supposed to be out Dec 1995 but instead January 1996. Ok, whatever, as long as they release it!

K-3, that's awesome report! I can feel your excitement. Whoah, I guess that's what Tak means by RIDE ON THE BIG MACHINE. Actually I've been reading the report by Japanese fans too, but they were mostly bitching about how ROOTS didn't get into the setlist. Hmm, it is rather strange. But it'd be too strange if Big Machine doesn't make it into Livegym BIG MACHINE's setlist, kakaka. First time I saw the list I was like where's BIG?!! Ok, I think it's now safe to say that Big Machine the song is my #1 fave from that album. I have decided.

I think those 'ranking' (Oricon Chart) does not mean too much to B'z now they are special,they can't be replaced by anyone, they keep trying to do different things in their music
don't always look at the sales. sales don't mean everything, having high sales does not always mean the music is good,and vice versa.

Last night I was lucky enough to see B'z at the Nagoya Dome. This is my 4th year in a row and perhaps the best concert yet! But then how can one rate perfection? If Inaba-san had been sick, there were no signs of it. He was his usual energetic self!
The concert opened with someone (we could only see the legs) climbing up a mountain. Then at the top he began using a jackhammer. The volume was pretty intense and then HAKANAI DIAMOND started! The guy in front of me went wild. I could hardly see the big screen, let alone attempt to see the stage! That jackhammer had set the stage for a great concert. The big screen was divided into 4 sections and the images constantly changed. I'M IN LOVE? slowed the pace down a bit. Then Inaba-san picked up his harmonica and had fun with the audience. Matsumoto-san walked out wearing a white hat - looking his super cool self! The highlight of the concert for me was about to start as they did DON'T LEAVE ME & MOTEL back to back. I glanced around and no one moved. We were all in awe. Inaba-san's voice was perfect. Matsumoto-san smiled at the audience quite a bit and his solos had been well-worth waiting for.
HIMITSU NA FUTARI picked up the momentum again, followed by LOVE ME,I LOVE YOU. Inaba-san did his usual sexy dance moves and the audience went wild.
Then it was time to quiet down again as HANA began. But after BLUESY NA ASA, there was no stopping B'z as the action picked up with BIG MACHINE. I can't describe how it feels to hear MOVE live. I had heard it at the JUICE concert and had hoped they would repeat it. 30,000 people jumping and clapping and singing - only to be followed by more of the same with JUICE and SAMAYOERU! The opening chords alone made the audience crazy.
I had waited all night to hear ARAKURE and when it started everyone screamed! 3 motorcyclists were in line on elevated platforms on the right side of the stage. They revved their engines and proceeded to jump over B'z to the ramp on the left! Not just jumping, but stunts too! Their legs flying in all directions! I stopped dancing! My mouth was probably wide open for half the song. Then I realized that I was missing what I had waited for and tried to concentrate only on B'z, but it was pretty hard! At the end of the song the 3 cyclists lined up on another ramp at the back of the stage.
CALLING and GIRI GIRI finished the concert and 2 hours had flown by. I wanted to hear ROOTS but felt satisfied with everything they performed.
As for the audience: I felt there were more guys than usual. And all ages were present - from a 5-year old to mid-50s! There were 2 bass players, Barry and a new guy I've never seen. Not Tokunaga-san. There were no solos by the supporting musicians as in the past, although as usual Inaba-san introduced them. As expected it was awesome! HONTO NI SAIKOU DESHITA!!! DOOMO ARIGATOU, B'Z-san!!!

She bought the cds from the store tsutaya. and I went to their site and checked up looked up B'z under 'artist' and 77 items came up!! well I found out that you can listen to previews everyone of their songs on the following albums: 1)B'z 2)OFF THE LOCK 3)BREAK THROUGH 4)B'z The "Mixture" 5)Flashback~B'z
the following mini albums: 1)BAD COMMUNICATION
and the following singles: 1)Dakara sonotewo hanashite
2)kimi no naka de odoritai 3)LADY-GO-ROUND

and for people who can't find the "artist" (because the whole page is in japanese): once you go into the page, you should see a banner that says "TSUTAYA ONLINE" (in navy blue and yellow) on the top left hand side of the page. Once you have found that, the box where you type in will be right below it. The top box is the one that specifies your search. Click on the box and click on the second one from the top. This choice will be "artist". Then you can type in B'z. Once the results show, you have to go to their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th page to hear any of their previews. ENJOY!!

Larrivee, www.yesasia.com doesn't even have "The 7th Blues" in their list. I should think they still have plenty in Japan. I have no idea how to confirm that though. Try other online shop like cdjapan or amazon.co.jp or HMV.
Yeah, singing is very important to me coz as a non-musician, I always notice that first before paying attention to the instruments/arrangement. I like Yuuwaku and Mermaid very much. Those guitar solos really rock. Teru's got a nice warm voice, but he gotta learn how to sing those notes correctly =p
Another important note is: B'z, despite the crazy DOME schedule and everything, will perform at Music Station Special on Dec 26. YAY!! Minna, let's all of us GUESS which two songs they will perform!
My bet: Big Machine, ROOTS... ok, mostly becoz I really really really really really want to see them perform these two. Oh pleaseeeee TAK!!!

I wouldn't recommend getting that Glay dvd unless you've made sure you like the songs on it, Keen. If you couldn't stand any of the Glay stuff I burned for you (which is why I stopped!) why would you want to listen to Teru sing live? :P (I <3 him, but he is slightly flat a lot of times. But I <3 him anyway!).

wow i think i missed out a lot during the past few days :p i'd rather stay put in this lion city than go to this company-get-together.. atsuiiii >_< i'm dying of b'z/178/tak music T.T but i'm happy to receive XXX on my 1st day of return & i'm still in the process of burning it to discs... running out of CD-R led me to another b'z discovery ^0^ i never know i possessed a cd of b'z wave-gym!! as the hosts of the program, tak greeted the audience "b'z wave-gym blah blah blah (^^;)". young 178 continued kawaii-ly with a "konbanwa", followed by the duo saying "b'z desu" & tak laughed ;) obviously, tak was the boss, doing most of the talking, with 178 doing the "hai", "sou desu ne" ^.~ tak called 178 "178-kun" then...what else?.. oh, 178 had a duty, which was to read out the address (i think) of the program. they played their own songs like bad communication, rosy, kimi no naka de odoritai. & also white snake's 'fool for your loving'. when this song ended, 178 said "saikou desu ne", tak echoed "saikou" =)

I just ordered Hit Parade from Yes Asia along with Misia's concert dvd for my brother. If I wait for Typhoon dvd then it will all arrive after X'mas. TOO LONG. I can't wait to throw zebra undies to Tak kekeke.
Next purchase will be Typhoon and something else... Too bad all older B'z albums are permanently out of print (0__o) Otherwise I'll be glad to buy buy buy. Glay's High Communication dvd is only US$23 for overseas vers!! I'm sure it's all good for Glay's fans, but I'm not sure whether I can take Teru's live singing so I'm not gonna consider buying the Japan vers. Although I've heard many good things about their concert dvds.

It is fairly common for people who are active to receive IVs, when they have the flu, before doing a strenuous activity. For example, this one talented basketball player had the flu, and could easily get dehydrated. So, he checked into the hospital before the game, and got an IV, so his body would be hydrated. Doing this just shows how dedicated Koshi is to the saying "The show must go on!"

Rumors: Koshi actually checked into hospital for to receive IV for his cold. Reports from Saitama arena sorta confirmed it becoz Koshi wasn't jumping around as much. I remember that it got so bad for Tak too one time that he had to stay in the hospital for a few days. I hope this is only rumor though coz there's no official news anywhere. Just gossip from some fan who had nurse-friend in some hospital. But if it's true then Koshi, please get well soon ;__;

Also, a note to my friends on here...aside from the occasional e-mail...I will be incommunicato for December 1st on...I am moving to a place where I will not have access to my computer for at least 2 months...hopefully not too much longer. heiii, after much much herupu from eMu, the top20 is finally completed. The whole editing of commentary are done collectively by Net Party members (you can see a lot of difference from before), I hope everyone likes it and agree! Anyway, it's also uploaded to NP's site.
