Tamashii, okaeri! ^0^ From the Tokyo-Dome photos in B'z official site (43 new pics), looks like it was amazing show ne. I read Taiwan reporter's report from Sapporo Dome. It was snowing all the way, so cool! Those two gigantic Tak and Koshi are really something 0___0 And the bike-scenes, big WOW!

Shane is so sweet, giving them all X'mas presents. I really think Shane is gonna be next year support member again. He's becoming too attached to B'z now. Tak in some interviews said Shane would suggest things about the setlist in the tour. Sugoi na Shane!

Barry Sparks' message board have some of his entries about the dome-concerts. He couldn't believe the size of the production keke, and it was only one of the smaller size of all the dome concerts.

hey! i'm back! ^_^ i watched music station super live too ^_~ but missed the part where b'z stepped onto the stage. i think they should be the 1st or 2nd to enter coz b'z & smap were standing next to each of the hosts, juz like last year... 178 looked great in the colorful long-sleeved top ;p~~~ he changed to a printed shirt (which didn't look nice on him ^^; ) during "it's showtime!!". but then, when every artists re-entered the stage at the end of the show, 178 & tak put on a leather coat.. sugoi kakkoi!!! yes! both of them! i dunno if 178 was not feeling very well, he did drink water during the performance (but that's a norm ne?) & also coughed too. though he didn't sound as fine as during the live-gyms, he seemed to be full of energy (at least not as weak as he did in last year's "atsuki~"). when the crowd responded with "sou zou ryoku", 178 let out a 'yes' b4 entering into the next line ^_^ 178's hair is longer now, looks like the 7th heaven hairstyle in MSS, longer+brown version
(i didn't manage to watch the banzai live doc T.T )

i saw the tak-in-hawaii news too =) didn't get to see his family, only tak himself being stopped by the media, didn't see him being interviewed too >_<

i've heard 1 new b'z song, the background song of the live-gym, dunno if it's "oasis" or "groundwing" ;p or neither 1 of them huhuhu...

i've post something about my b'z trip at NP... too long to put it here ^_~

Tak arrived in Hawaii on Dec 28 with wife and children to spend day off in Hawaii for a week. He was 'caught' by Japan TV's reporter who's waiting at airport in Hawaii to see WHO'S WHO from Japan spending holiday there. When interviewed, Tak said it's been a busy year and that's he's happy to be able to do Hit Parade. Next year would be the same, with focus on making music and live tour.
Poor Tak, I hope this doesn't ruin his holiday. I wonder where Koshi is spending his holiday.

B'z just performed "It's Showtime!!" in Music Station Special. Looks like Koshi was not well again. He had to drink water during performance. Last night's on Tokyo Dome stage (Dec 25), he said he lost a lot of weight this year. Yeah, in between Dome live, they still have to do Music Station? Dec 20's Sapporo Dome, it snowed throughout the whole concert. But must be quite beautiful. Koshi, Tak, ganbatte kudasai!! One more dome concert to go tomorrow and then you can go home and take a long rest. We'd hate to see you sick ;___;

Wow..so long since I have posted or had a chance to check the board !! What is the T-shirt thingy ?? Keen ie you will have to e-mail me with details or look on YM sometime after the New YEar ! I was in Las Vegas and went to a concert at House of Blues and Man o man I can't imagine being at the B'z concert there with all those crazed fans !! I personally would have fallen off the balcony it is a small cramped place up top fro sure !!

HIT PARADE sold 225,125 copies first week. 80,000+ 2nd week and 47,639 3rd week. I think he's doing very well indeed. Even Misia, Gackt, Hyde who released 1 week after him are not selling as much anymore. Nor is Aiko who beat Tak in the 1st week by about 10,000 copies.

heii, Keen, that is some crap about the t-shirts! now I don't think auctioning them off is illegal, but saying they are official when they actually aren't is certainly a violation! I guess all you can do is let Yahoo know about this so nobody else gets ripped off, but I don't know how easy it will be to get that message across. I haven't seen those shirts before, either! no wonder they're popular in Japan, the B'z logo is nice and huge on your shirts compared to theirs!

I'm very very angry and stressed to find that my B'z T-shirt design have been used by some Japanese fans to make money at Yahoo Auction! Tamashii found these links and told me straight away. The person had the guts to actually say that these shirts were sold in US Tower Record! There were two auctions (both ended already). Price began at 1,800 yen and ended at 8,000 yen. I feel so sorry for the people who bought these shirts coz they were taken for a ride. The shirts are really cute and I'd not be ashamed to wear them out on the street but not this way! But I really don't know what to do! What can I do, minna? T___T If anyone should make any money at all, it should be me, NO? And I never intend to make any with this design. Those poor fans. And poor ME...

B'z were special guests on CD Countdown's year-end show tonight. They asked some of the same questions like how they met, and Inaba-san talked about how they sang LET IT BE & the amp broke.They talked about the total number of sales of both singles & albums and how it equalled the cost of building Tokyo Disneyland! When Ma-chan was asked what he thought, he answered with "SUGOII, DESU NE!!" a couple of times! I couldn't catch what the host said at one point but it must have been hysterical because Inaba-san laughed so hard!!! At the end they sang HAKANAI DIAMOND. As far as their ranking this year: they came in #10 with IT'S SHOWTIME. #1 was SMAP who Ma-chan had predicted would win.

ah, Dave! you've posted before I could comment on your review. well anyway, you've provided another well-written piece, with mention of some great details. it's nice to see that old school B'z Fanatics-style review again! takes me back to when I only knew 20 or so B'z songs, and I'd use your reviews to educate myself.

ok, another strange song choice for that "horror" show. maybe someone on the staff really, really likes B'z, and they just wouldn't let the show go on without their two favorite songs, no matter how inappropriate they are for the show (ok, I am only speculating since I have never actually seen the show!). but how could either song ever evoke the slightest bit of fear in anyone?

Eeeh, I guess however you translate, there are always people who don't agree. For some, it is too direct. But if you put in some more of your own interpretation which would make it more realistic (from your own point of view), you are also upsetting people for not sticking to the actual words.
If anybody out there can make better translations than DO IT !
I always have problems expressing the B'z stuff esp. in english, cause I feel the english number of available words in insufficient.. or maybe that is just in my mind but I find it waaaay easier and more accurate to translate japanese-->german

Everyone here probably remember Fuji TV horror-dorama Anata No Tonari Ni Dare Ka Iru? (translation: Who's that beside you?) which theme song is Arakure and ending song is Katte Ni Shiyagare? Well, looks like tonite's final episode packed a cute li'l surprise for B'z fans who watch the shows JUST for the OST haha). The main character's family name is Matsumoto. So after being terrorized for a long time, they moved somewhere. And who is their new neighbour? Well oh well, but of course it's the Inaba family. WAAHAHAHA. Now the Jpn boards everywhere are buzzing with this news. Quite a funny joke that FUJI terebi pulled! I'm SO watching this one! p(^0^)q

Beside that, I thought it'd be interesting to discuss this: Last night, after probably 1 year not checking, I clicked on yahoo statistic to see how many views per month and things like that. Well, I was very surprised to see that this site's lyrics book page has 1000 views/month, which is about 3x from November last year. And this is only the yahoo site, coz tripod doesn't give statistic.
Now the reason why I think it's important is becoz this can only mean that B'z is 3x more popular now in the English speaking community than this time last year! At least in the internet world. Maybe soon we don't have to explain WHO is B'z? or hear aren't they old already? are they still alive, this kind of ignorant questions anymore! HURRAY for B'z!!!

Also I hope more people are paying attention to Koshi's lyrics coz he really deserves the recognition. I'm sick of seeing some forums going "BEST lyricists in J-rock/pop world, in your opinion?" and not even one person mention Kosh! Why... I'm pretty sure that the people in this bbs are not just some blind followers that say his lyrics are good when they totally suck.
But actually even more than that, I'd like to see Tak's name mentioned when (again) those forums have threads like "BEST guitarists". NO ONE mentioned him and the man actually owns two signature Gibsons. TWO! -__-;;

Didn't wanna say anything b4, but since I'm being a bit bitchiee tonite, I'll let it all out. I have read comments in the past that said that my translations are too direct (word by word) and thus very laughable. Well, as long as it's not wrong, I think I'd keep doing it that way. I don't wanna force on people my own interpretation on Sensei's lyrics. Word by word is good so I can leave it to the fans on how they wanna understand it. Hope that's okay. But if you see blatant mistakes, by all means, please e-mail me! Yoroshiku onegaishimasu! I'd appreciate any help!
