congrats TMG for being #1! the hit parade got #2 if i remember correctly... i've listened to I one round so far... eric seems to have too much saliva in his mouth ^^; (gomen gomen)... dunno much about the instruments but i thought i heard some familiar guitar playing & arrangement in I. apart from the 2 songs in the single, i like 'i wish you were here' and 'the greatest show on earth'. ehhhh, 178's Wonderland sounds better than TMG's WONDERLAND :p

K-3, I got the TMG1 today. Thanks for sending it to me asap. I immediately played the dvd and watched the PV. It's a nice pv. And then I listened once to the album, well up to track 11 anyway...
Hmm, my first impression is I'm not so much in favor for it. I still have problem with Eric's voice. He tends to disappear into the background music. When Koshi (or other good vocalists) sings, his voice is like the leading role. You can't but notice him. When Eric sings, I notice at first, after a while, all I hear is guitar and music. He fades out. And it became a nuisance because I was kinda starting to hope that he'd go away and that the songs are guitar only. I feel sad because I really wanted to like TMG. Oh well, at least the cd design is lovely.
Having said all this, I still think that Tak should be appreciated for taking this step. He's really daring, gambling with his chance by doing something different. "The Hit Parade" was amazing. I love it that he's still trying. Some songs that I heard of TMG1 have very unique melody and arrangement. Just too bad that I can't seem to like the vocal style.
Anyway, I know other fans who like the album. Plenty of Japanese B'z fans also love it. So I'll definitely give TMG1 another try. Who knows it might grow on me, like Eleven =p But that was my first impression. I hope I didn't offend anyone.

Friends 2 is moz def winter for me, but it tastes pretty good in the summer, too...but that is because I likes it so much. winter is proper, though. Shian is good for that time, too. lots of songs are summer-affiliated since that was the season when I'd first heard them. I got Big Machine in the fall, but it gives me a spring feeling. Green is undisputedly summery, I can't deny that! old school B'z is more appealing on rainy days, for some reason.

This is a quiet year for B'z but with TMG's new album just out and 178-3's new single next month, things should pick up. I've only had a few chances to listen to TMG1 but Matsumoto-san's solos will surely please the ones who felt they were lacking in BIG MACHINE. The beat of WISH YOU WERE HERE grabs you right off. I really recommend it!

I decided to torrent a clip from Banzai in North America and found a person who had gone to one of the shows, and caught Tak's pick! He posted a picture (link above) of it. He was also one of the people who got spit on by Inaba lol XDXD What a lucky bastard!! *is jealous* lol
Umm btw I just "finished" going through the Ultra Chronicle book and I've gotta say I'm kinda disappointed (other than the gorgeous photos). It's mostly a book on um..their music and their opinions of concerts/music..which I guess is great if your kanji skills are good, but since mine pretty much suck, I lost interest quite fast...I really enjoyed the 15th anniversary book a lot more because I guess I am more interested in Koshi & Tak, rather than discussion of their music. I mean I love the music but there's only so much you can talk about 1 song or 1 tour before you're like "k I need something new here, what's your favorite sport guys?"

I was reading the B'z!B'z!B'z! board and saw the news about Inaba-san's new album too, and I got a little excited, but most of the regulars at the board think that news isn't true. No one else confirmed the news, either, so I'm guessing it's not exactly reliable. The news about the single, on the other hand, was apparently releases through B'z Party and was confirmed by other members of the board, so it's safe to say that one's true, at least.

wow, if that guy thinks Green is so good, I wonder what effect Brotherhood would have on him! or any other B'z album, for that matter. it doesn't sound like he's tried very hard to find any info in English, though. it's not that difficult to Google up your site, Keen! also interesting that he's into death metal...make that the 2nd B'z fan I know (besides me) who has that interesting characteristic.
